The UR4Africa program in November and December focuses on Tech & Health and it is in partnership with tech companies in Lagos. Kids would be taught how to make apps that will teach people about health topics and awareness around diseases such as HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Typhoid, Obesity, Cholera, etc. The program begins November 7th and ends December 19th.
We have two programs:

2) Saturdays from 11am-4pm
Volunteers mentors are needed for these projects. Volunteer mentors will be required to attend training workshops October 24th and October 31st. Trainings will most likely be from 10am to 2pm.
Requirements from the mentors are:
– To be on time
– Be a team player
– Be enthusiastic about mentoring
– Be flexible
– Be patient
– Challenge the kids
– Be present while mentoring
-Currently in Lagos and for the duration of the program
Volunteer mentors who have some experience using a computer or with technology and are creative are especially welcome.
