Volunteer with WTEC

Another opportunity to volunteer is here again as  W.TEC summer camp for girls holds 2nd – 16th August, 2014.

The W.TEC Girls Technology Camp is a 2-week technology education and mentoring programme organized by W.TEC, with the objective of helping girls develop an early interest in computers and information technology. For the camp duration, the girls will participate in technology workshops. The long-term goal is to increase the numbers of Nigerian women using technology productively for learning, professional and leadership activities

To this effect, they are recruiting female volunteers for the forth-coming program and listed below are the pre-requisite for applying:

-Should be a resident of Lagos state
-Should be between the age of 20 and 25 years old.
-Should be ICT  inclined
-Should be available to attend an 8-day Pre-camp ICT training workshop in July, 2014.

  2. Hello,
    I am very interested in volunteering but what is amazing is the age limit, I understand 18, but why 25 maximum? I believe giving back shouldn’t have age limitations but I guess the organizers have their reasons.
    Just saying
